Designed and built by original owner Ferdinand McMillan, The Castle is easily one of Atlanta’s most architecturally unique buildings. Since McMillian’s death in 1920, The Castle gained cultural significance to Atlanta’s arts community by providing housing for artists. The City of Atlanta designated the building a landmark in 1989, but it remained vacant. Purchased in 2010, The Castle has finally found new life as home to the brand new restaurant concept Rose & Rye.
Guided tours at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
